The future of the Nintendo 64 Disk Drive is far from certain. Since we announced
the Drive, cartridge technology has come a long way. High-capacity carts are
dropping in price, and what we thought would be impossible or too expensive to
do on a cart a year ago is now possible.

If there are some awesome "must-have" games that could only be done on the
drive, then we'll release it. We want to avoid releasing an add-on for which there
are only a few games, especially if those games could be made without the need
for an add-on.
